Loapi at Tswalu: a private safari home beneath the Kalahari sky

Set below the Korannaberg mountains, Loapi brings a personal rhythm to a vast private reserve. Six stand-alone safari homes combine canvas, glass and steel, with the landscape always close.

Each home has a plunge pool, private chef and dedicated house manager. A private vehicle, guide and tracker let the day follow your client’s interests.

Red dunes, open grasslands, guided walks and time with habituated meerkats create a distinctive Kalahari safari.

Beyond the beautiful lodge

Why the land behind your lodge matters

Two beautiful lodges can offer very different safari days. The difference often starts with access to the land, how sightings are managed and which activities are permitted.

Our journal unpacks private reserves, concessions and conservancies, and the questions worth asking before recommending a stay.

From our trade desk

Privacy is part of the experience.

At Loapi, privacy extends from the home to the vehicle. Lead with freedom of pace and depth of experience when presenting its value.

Private access can add real value. The right fit still depends on the place, its rules and the traveller.

A note from Bettina

Dear Travel Partner,

For me, the luxury of space is the freedom to slow down, follow a curiosity and let a safari unfold around the traveller.

If Loapi or a private reserve journey feels right for a client, send us their dates, interests and budget. We would love to shape a thoughtful proposal together.
